Overclock: A Steam-Powered Campaign Guide

Hey everyone!

Just giving an update on everything real quick.

Locked Orders are due soon, but we'll probably hold off a week or two for a few folks who are ironing out their shipping details. Even when it locks, nothing will charge yet. However, we are still looking to charge probably sometime in mid-August.

EU Shipping is... grim. I've looked everywhere for better rates, and unfortunately, with the trade squabble between the US and the EU, it's not ideal. If you are in the EU and you wish to switch to digital only, contact Aubrey at [email protected] with your Backerkit information and we'll switch you. 

Finally, one piece of good news—we commissioned 10-15 additional pieces of art to go into the book created by our friends, Matias and Nacho Lazaro. Kestrel is also creating some new art for the book, too, so it should like nice and bright and shiny once we release the PDF.

For those wondering about PDFs, PDFs will be released after we do the charges in mid-August.

Hey friends,

Just a quick heads-up: international shipping prices have been updated. I used Easy Ship to look through all the rates and tried to get the best ones where I could. Domestic stayed the same.

UK and Canada went down significantly, as did Australia. EU, unfortunately, is still skewing a bit high due to trade war stuff. 

If you're in a country that's not UK, EU, Canada, Australia, or Domestic and want to see if we can get a better rate, hit us up at [email protected] and we'll take a look at it.

If your shipping charges didn't automatically update, hit us up and we'll see what's wrong. Backerkit said they should adjust automatically, but you never know.

Hey folks,

Sorry about the scare with international shipping rates. We usually ship through Shopify as it gets us the best rates, but this time it did not. However, I may have found a different solution with Easyship which is getting us much better rates via FedEx. Naturally, they'll still be higher than domestic shipping would be, but at the very least it won't be in the high tier.

I'm going to see if I can adjust it all in the Pledge Manager first. If I can't do that, I'll offer discounts after the fact. Do keep in mind that due to the ongoing foreign trade issues, rates have been going up quite a bit for all international shipping companies. Plus, shipping costs include the cost of handling/supplies, etc. Regardless, I will do my best to get a better rate for you all.

Hey everyone!

Just letting you know that the Pledge Manager is now live as we're nearly done with the PDF. 

Here's what happens now:

I don't want to put a hard date on anything just yet as the trade war this year (and still going on) has made things a mixed bag. But we are more or less in the end game now. At this point, it's just waiting for it to print, ship, and arrive.

Hey friends,

Just a quick update for you all.

With the new tariff scare, we're not sure where we'll be printing it, so we're keeping an eye on that. Once the final PDF form is ready, we'll have more information for you.

We're targeting end of summer for physical rewards, so be ready for Backerkit to open probably in June or so. I don't want to quote shipping on anything until we see how the trade wars play out. In the meantime, we'll be dropping the digital goods pretty soon, hopefully sometime in early May depending on art turnaround.

Either way, everything is good and ready to go!
