Hey folks,

Just letting you know that the adventure is drafted, thereby wrapping up the book. We're at ~377 pages... whew! Once we give it an initial proofing pass, it'll get put into the doc and organized. Then released in its part. Once you've all had a chance to review the three different parts and give any feedback, we'll make adjustments, release the final PDF, and then send it to the printers.

Thanks all for your patience! We look forward to delivering this to you all.

Final Part Coming This Week or Early Next (Sorry for the Delay)
7 months ago – Wed, Oct 29, 2025 at 08:01:27 AM

Hey all,

Just a quick update. The adventure portion of the book should drop this week. Our usual proofer had some medical issues pop up, so we've been looking for someone to help with proofing/editing. We plan to have the final hunk of the book drafted and ready for them to review this week. Depending on how soon they can knock it out, we should have this final bit done by the end of this week or early next.

After that, we'll collected feedback from you all and make adjustments as needed to send to the printers. With the holidays coming up and international trade being somewhat up in the air, we can't give a solid date on when physicals will hit. Fortunately, books aren't super affected by tarrifs (so we hear) and we purchased all the dice and accessories before prices went up.

In the meantime, if you need anything, please reach out to our customer service manager, Aubrey, at [email protected]

Thanks, everyone!

Backer Pass Part 3 of 3 has been released for digital download! (2 of 3 is coming soon)
8 months ago – Wed, Oct 01, 2025 at 08:20:16 AM

Hey friends,

Parts 1 and 3 are now out. Part 2, the adventure, is still in proofing and should be ready in a couple weeks, giving all of you time to digest this section of the book—the final two chapters plus the appendices with all the fun new spells and monsters—find any errors that might be there, and help us make an necessary improvements.

If you find any mistakes that need fixing, send an email with the subject "Overclock Mistakes" to [email protected], pointing out anything you've seen that seems wrong with this chunk of pages and your name. If we utilize the fixes, we'll credit you in the book.

Naturally, there's no obligation to assist. But in my experience, there's always one or two things you miss, no matter how many times you stare at a document, so an extra pair of eyes never hurts!

A quick reminder that all of the dice and pendants are already finished. So all we'll have to wait on is the book. We're optimistic about the timeline, but with uncertainty surrounding trade, it'll be hard to pinpoint when the printed book will arrive.

Thanks again, everyone! I think you're really going to enjoy this book.

Backer Pass Part 1 of 3 has been released for digital download!

Hey friends,

I'm just letting you all know that we've just shared the first third of the book, containing pages 1 to 156. We're only doing a chunk at a time to give you all a chance to digest, find any errors that might be there, and help us make any necessary improvements.

We expect to release part 2 (the adventure) in a couple of weeks and part 3 (appendices) a little later. Once we've collected feedback and fixed any lingering typos (this will be our fifth proofing round!), it's off to the printers.

If you find any mistakes that need fixing, send an email with the subject "Overclock Mistakes" to [email protected], pointing out anything you've seen that seems wrong with this chunk of pages and your name. If we utilize the fixes, we'll credit you in the book.

Charging this week, then dropping first major chunk of the book for your review
9 months ago – Tue, Sep 09, 2025 at 06:56:27 AM

Hey everyone,

I'm just letting you know that we're charging cards for shipping this week. This will allow us to start sending digital rewards while we're printing the books. There is no timeline yet on when the books will ship, but hopefully, we'll have them printed and at our fulfillment center before the year's end. All the add-ons are already at the location, so it's just book printing at this point. Dave had another book printed with the printer we're using, and it turned out great, so hopefully lightning strikes twice!

As soon as everything is charged, we can release the PDFs. We'll start with the first six chapters, covering the bulk of the book's lore and new mechanics. This will give you all a chance to review, find anything weird (we didn't see with our proofing), and help us make the requisite fixes.

Shortly after, we'll release the last two parts, the big adventure from DMDave, and the appendix, which includes the new spells, monsters, and other details.

If you have any questions or need to change anything with your order, make sure to reach out to Aubrey at [email protected]

Thanks, everyone!
